Newsgroups: alt.pub.dragons-inn From: rrb3919@zeus.tamu.edu (BARRON, RANDY R) Subject: [ADMIN] cross-posting?? Message-ID: <27OCT199208014481@zeus.tamu.edu> Date: Tue, 27 Oct 1992 13:01:00 GMT just recently, under the subject of 'character list' or something like that, a chap by the sig of *@*.qucis.ca something or other posted about, you guessed it, cross-posting between alt.dragons-inn and alt.pub.dragons-inn. From the tone of the post, i get the feeling he intended it to be posted in a.d-i, while it was posted in a.p.d-i. I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem, or if it was limited to dear ol' Texas A&M's news-server. As far as I can determine, there are 3 dragon's inns... 1 is set in generica, supposed to be a.p.d-i, and has threads such as [Moriarty Investigations], [Kron Quest], [Black HawK] and, my own, [Blade]. 2 is set in Trelham, supposed to be a.d-i (but is in both), and the only current thread i know of is [SAM]. 3 is again set in generica, supposed to be a.d-i (and STAYS there), and as far as i know, is running a Quest for Chalamar, and someone by the name of Geixei (sorry for mangling your name, ted). I would be highly appreciative if someone would correct my assumptions, BY E-MAIL (don't clutter the net), as i'm trying to post to only 1 and 3 as someone from 2 somewhat shittily beat on me for making an honest mistake... Thanks all... "May your sword be as sharp /- MASKE @=======I========================> as thy wit, to ensure thy \- rrb3919@zeus.tamu.edu safety from unmeant cuts" p.s. Have a nice day. Don't flame as I haven't slept for 2 days and I'll probably make your life miserable with incoherent babbling...
