  The door opens once more, the candles flicker as the cold night air, and 
a stranger, rush in.  THUD! the door slams shut, as if by some mystical force.
The stranger is a human male, stands about 5'-11", and has light brown hair.
He wears a surcoat over a shiny suit of chainmail, a phosphorecent white cloak
hangs about his shoulders, and a gold handled longsword at his hip.  Emblazoned
upon the surcoat are two wyverns, one blue and one red, locked in combat.  He
moves toward the bar, producing a metallic gray coin, that has a slight blue 
tinge to it, from his pouch.  He hands the platinum coin to the barkeep, "A 
flaggon of mead barkeep, keep the rest."  He turns around with the flaggon in
hand, leaving the barkeep staring at the coin in awe.

    He takes a swig of mead and looks around the pub.  He heads off toward a 
table at which sits a short, fat elf and a lady.  His approach unnoticed, he
removes a golden ring from his finger, and tosses it down in front of the elf.
"Told you that I could get it Ilure, now where's that silver you wagered?"
Ilure looks up at the stranger, and stares in astonishment.  "Ryst, is it you?",
Ilure asks,"I thought that giant killed you five years ago."  Ryst pulls up a 
chair and sits down at the table,"'Tis true that the giant did knock me 
unconcious and drag me to his cave where he planned to eat me.  But fate smiled
upon me that day old friend, a gnomish rogue by the name of Saufferin freed me, 
and we finished that blaggard off."  Ilure examines the ring; a gold band with 
an emerald set in a dragon's mouth.  "Where have you been these five years past
Ryst?", Ilure asks.  "We'll talk of the past later, Ilure.  Tell me, who is 
your lady friend here?", Ryst smiles slyly and takes another swig of mead...
