Newsgroups: alt.pub.dragons-inn From: jng53092@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu (Jon Gad) Subject: [blade] Tyrone risks it all Message-ID: Date: Wed, 28 Oct 1992 15:57:40 GMT Focusing his will upon the weeping mutant, Sir Tyrone felt the warm feeling of peace that accompinied his lost Paladin powers. Staring at Rot, the Wererabbit was shocked to discover that the disease-ridden form did not glow with the sickly green aura of Evil. Realizing that his hold on the blessings of the Gods would be short-lived, Tyrone leaped foreward. Placing his paw on Rot's forehead, Sir Tyrone prayed with all his might for a cure to the Guardsman's affliction. A golden glow encompessed Rot, and some of his boils disappeared. But not all, for the Great Mother is always reluctant to release her hold on those she has touched. The glow faded, and Tyrone felt the warmth depart as the Gods once again tore away his Paladinhood. And with it, his Paladin's immunity to disease. Stumbling away from the partially-cured Rot, Tyrone said "I think...I'm...going ...to...be...ill..." and collapsed into a heap on the pavement. ADMIN: Well, Rot's less deadly now, but he's still infectious, and still dangerous... Jon Gad Sir Tyrone jng53092@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu
