Zebron speaks up, "I'll need a mount and 'appropriate gear.' I usually just
summon magical steeds when speed is necessary, but I'd like to conserve my
magical energy in this case."

Zebron reaches into his sash and withdraws a small pouch. He shakes it, and
the sound of jingling coins can be heard. "This should take care of the cost."
says the dark elf as he tosses the pouch to Alaric.

"Speaking of magical energy..." Zebron's voice trails off as he walks to his
pack, left some time ago next to the door, and retrieves a leather bound tome.
He moves to a corner, sits down cross-legged, and opens the book.

He turns to the raven, Dusk, perched on the headboard.

"No. You cannot go with Khisanth and Alaric. Sorry, but I can't see how you
could help them pick out mounts."

"Nope. I'm sure Alaric would apprieciate your help in defending her, but I
don't think either of them need assistance in that area."

"Look, just roost over there and make sure nobody interrupts me while I study
my spells."

"Thank you. I appreciate this. Really. And when we start travelling, I'm
sure Alaric will let you scout while we ride, alright?"

Zebron looks at the others in the room.

"Sorry. I don't really need to talk out loud to him, but it's easier to focus
my thoughts that way."
