 Sam looks up with a start.. and jumps to his feet pointing at Nusty.

 "YEAH!! She's the ONE!! She's the one you were sent here for.. NOT
  ME.. no no.. for HER!!"

  Nusty turns her stone faced gaze upon Sam.. 

  "Oh no you don't friend Sam.. you know perfectly well that this 
   scroll", which she waves about under Sam's nose," was delivered
   to you!" Turning to Dint, Nusty adds, "I regret that you are not
   here on my account, but for dear old SAM here." An evil grin
   spreads across her face.

  Sam continues..  
    "Look Dent.. don't get me wrong, but I really don't know why
     you were sent here for me. There must be some kind of mistake.
     It's not like I'm in need of protection." He gazes about the room.
    "Well.. ok .. a LITTLE protection.. but nothing like a dwarf 
     that just VFROOM.. appears outta nowhere.. There's got to be a 
     mistake? Considering what happened that LAST time.. I mean.."
     
  As Sam was rambling on, further discussions between F'nordren and 
  Urkrea where taking place. 

>Urkrea to F'nordren:
>"Then again, our friend here may only being continuing a myth which
>keeps most from the path of the shadows.  Or he may be testing our
>determination, which i doubt is lacking."  His gazes passes over Sam.
>"At least in some of us."

  Sam, ever aware of a taunt, stopped his whining, and turned to Urkrea..

     "Now listen here you over-blown, gas filled.. "

  However before he could finish, F'norder turned to Sam and said,

>"Sam, I release you from any obligation you may have had to me.  
> I cannot ask you to come unless you do it of your own free will."


  Sam, however, was oblivious to F'nordren's comments, as he continued
  his barrage of insults toward Urkrea. (ED:most of which are unpublishable)

    "Furthermore.. even if I wasn't already going, to repay my debt to 
     F'nordren, I'd not only come along with you.. but I would GO FIRST!"

  With that Sam turns his attention to F'nordren..
 
    "Now.. what was that you were saying F'nordren?"
