[insert story from previous post here]
"Don't go out looking for them. They are just pawns following orders. If I had
been more alert, as I said, then this would not have happened. Once I got the
upper hand, I could have killed one or two of them, but I do not believe in
killing except in self-defence WHILE your life is threatened. Once I was free
I was no longer in such a dire situation, so I left them alone. A couple are
wounded, but that's all. Revenge is not something I desire- I've learned it
only makes things worse.
Now then. Did I hear you mention something about a quest? While I am peaceful
in nature, I have skills for wilderness survival and can fight well when needed
to fight. I just don't take lives unneccessarily."
Amachiak comes back with Moria's plate of food at this point, and Ixy pours a
couple classes of wine out. "It's a little expensive, but I felt I deserved it
after what I went through." again that rougish smile briefly appears on his
face.
