Then he shifted back into a Gnome and passed out again. Now that the elementals were distracted by the other patrons of the inn, Shadow decided to take her master to a safer place. She gentle closed her mouth on Firecat's armored arm, being careful not to pierce it with her sharp teeth. Walking backwards, she drug Firecat across the plaza and to the entrance of the inn. Mary Littlefair was there to help her from this point. She and some of the Rabble (actually doing something productive for once), helped get Firecat inside and to one of the make-shift beds. Mary shooed them away and set to work healing someone who she considered a hero. "When you wake, I will give you and the others such a feast. Roast lamb, snake steaks, veal, king lobster, whatever you wish shall be yours, my brave Gnome. We Littlefairs do not forget our friends as our friends do not forget us. Rest now and heal yourself..." Mary spoke to him soothingly as she took care of his wounds. She spoke to him so that he might know that he is safe and with friends. She also spoke for herself...anything to keep her mind off of the terror outside her precious inn. Love and Peace and Terror, -The Dreamer-
