Kryalla Simuel sees the seeming uselessness of her first attack.  Evidently,
it was not truly a monster of shadow, but of some other-planar substance that
bore a resemblance to shadow.  Seeing the death of the bystander, the Shrouded
One sets herself betwixt the walking dead man and Xrxs.
