Redtassle had been sitting around the inn for quite some time now.
He was a little bored, as all the interesting people had been to and
fro and quite ignored his attempts to make conversation.
The place was very busy overall, with lots of people crowded in. There
was a call about a wager. In the 19 corners, people were talking quietly
in a manner that for some reason always happened in corners.
Sitting himself up, Redtassle called out over the din in his
high-pitched squeaky voice to Littlefair.

"Rowan !" , he shouted, "I'll be back later 'kay"
Rowan acknowldeged this with a look of mixed relief and dread.

Swinging down off the chair, the kender began negotiating the crowd.
Those who knew him or half knew him guarded their money pouches as the
kender with the apparently innocent childlike face passed by.

Redtassle arrived outside with a couple of rings, coins and other
odds and ends, including half a mug of ale.
He absently tucked them away in his pouches and walked on into the
night.

"Oh dear." One of his pouches was soaking wet with ale.

"How'd that get there? " he wondered to himself.
