The Rabble had quietened down to a low buzz as they made bets on anything and everything they could see, smell or spit on, and the shadowy corners seemed to somehow be less menacing than usual. The number of non-descript people with something non-non-descript about them still seemed to be high, but that was to be expected. An Inn like Littlefair's seemed to attract more than its fair share of oddities. ..sage grinned. As a blind albino drow, who was also a librarian and an archmage, he was hardly a non-oddity himself. His mind wandered to Father Lucas again, the man who had appeared from the bulk of Great Mother, and who he had taken away from the unholy grotto before it collapsed on top of them.
