Traveling down the long road that went north into the heart of the
city Scott wondered where he would find Tin'agr'in Finigan's brother.
As he approached the temples Scott reined his horse over to the other
side to give them wide berth. And touched his well worn holy symbol of
his goddess saying a silent prayer
Father down he saw large statues of various people, some warriors
but most leaders, merchants, and the like. `Interesting that this city
puts up statues of merchants and their like.' And as he was veiwing
the different statues he realized that he was not just being looked at
but was being watched and followed. Slowly he came to a stop and looked
around. Finally settling on one begger boy he motioned for the lad to
come to him.

"Boy, I have a question for you." Leaning down toward the boy
Scott took the boy's hand faster than the lad though this warrior type
could possible move exspecially in all that armour. "Listen boy, I can
tell that you know who the 'Other side' of town people are, if you are
not one your self. I want you to get me one of them. I dont care who
just one who can deal with me. And for your trouble take this." Scott
then gave the boy a silver piece.
The boy took off after Scott let go of him and ran about 50 feet.
Slowing and looking back the boy could see that mounted warrior hadnt
moved and seemed to no longer be looking at him. Debating for half a
second whether to take the money and run or do this strangers bidding
the boy decide to get the attention of one of the guild sense he had
noticed that they were watching this man. After getting the message to
the guild the boy decide to watch and see what happened.

Shortly one of the guild approached Scott in an ordinary fashion
looking just like a citizen passing by, but only after they had determined
that this warrior was not out to kill a thief.
In a low voice, "What do you want `Scott Gillig'? "
With out even looking directly at the man who spoke Scott got off
his horse and said, "I know that you follow me and I wish to know why."

"All information comes with a price and what price are you willing
to pay."

"Price is not the question but I have no wish to raise the wrath
of any. What I see is why do you follow me and do you know of a dwarf
that goes by the name Tin'agr'in?"

"For one who does not seek to make others turn against them that
you have already done. Even if that one is fool hardy in their reasoning.
And the one you seek, the dwarf, tell why and I will tell you where."

"I see the dwarf for his brother asked me to, to give him news
of how he has been and to have me return something to him from his brother.
And who is this fool hearty one."

"For twice what you paid the boy I'll tell you that. And as for
the dwarf," sighing slightly, " the one you seek is dead. His grave can
be found at the Weeping Flowers Cemetary."

"Here is what you ask and something more." Scott shakes hands
with the man and passes some coins to him during the shake. "Take word
to the man who asked you to do this, `Do not mess with me and I will do
likewize.'"

Turning and mounting up on his warhorse Scott says one more thing
just before the guild's man leaves.
"Also tell your boys to put my equipment back on to my last horse.
I do not appericate be targeted while dealing with you."

Give a small look of surprise the guild's man starts to say
something while taking a quick look at what Scott gave him. Hesitating
slightly he changes his mind. He motions for the others to replace Scott's
equipment while quickly figuring out what his percent of the take would be
from 3 gold pieces.

While two men replace the small items of equipment taken from the
last pack horse the guild's man tells Scott that the Weeping Flowers Cemetary
is out the east gate about 1/2 mile and on the south side of the road.
When the men where done Scott just looked at the guild's man, smiled and
head north on the road to the center of town.

After a short while Scott comes upon the a strange sight, the middle
of the square is made of metal stones that shine like mirror and has no
tarnish about it. See that people here take no real notice of the metal
Scott does not take a long look at the center but starts to turn east on
Dragons Lane. Several beggers (none of them boys) approach him asking for
money, old weapons, anything that he does not need or want. Stopping and
looking at them he eyes one of them and says,
"You there in the black and brown cloak. Call your friends way and
answer my question for I give nothing away unless it is earned.

The man looked at him and with out any precievable movement the
beggers pull away from Scott.
"Tell me where a good and safe place to stay at in this town."

The one Scott called out of the crowd answered, "Behind you is
probably the best place for one like you."

With that Scott opened up his large belt pouch and pulled out a bag.
Tossing it toward the man, he noded and turned toward the building. Reading
the sign that hung from it `Dragons Inn' . 'Wonder if anyone in there has
ever met a dragon, a real one that is.' Seeing that the place had a stable
also Scott rode over to the stable doors and dismounted. Seeing that one was
actively watching the stable part Scott lead the horses on in and set to
caring for the horses and equipment. After an hour with the horses each in
a stall and the excess equipment from the horses in another. Scott headed
inside to the inn taking a backpack of equipment with him.

Upon entering the Inn he noticed many things all at once. Most of
the people here were very much out of the ordinary, there seemed to be too
many dark corners, and there were many people of magic here. Thinking
softly to himself, `Wonder how many of these will take offense to the fact
that I have hunted wizards down and killed them for bounty.' Then taking
no more time standing in the door, Scott entered and walked up to the bar.

"I have need lady of a room for atleast three days along with stabling
for three horse. And I want a private room large enough for two people."

After paying for the room and stable Scott ordered a beer and looked
around the room again taking more time to survey these strange and different
surroundings and people.
