Listener surveyed the motley group with a suspicous eye, not quite
believing that even a group of adventurers would be so brazen as to 
return where they weren't wanted so soon...

"I'm very sorry, sir." Denner summoned all his diplomatic skill.
"The fight we started only occured because of carelessness and foolishness.
 None of us here had the skill to avert and defuse the situation, and..."

"Are you trying to be diplomatic?"

"*Ulp* uh..."

"You can come in and pick up anything you left in your room, then you can
 leave! I'm not having troublemakers in here!"

(Urrgh.) Denner thought. How could he possibly talk the bard into letting
himself and the others in?
