     "I have done nothing to you."  Windstalker said, his voice a
cool whisper.  "I am but a simple warrior whose skill is in
swordplay, not the arcane."  Waving his hand above his head, he said,
"This inn, however, is more than it seems.  It is a place of neutral
ground where people of all races may meet and associate without much
fear of being harmed.  That includes Drow, and I hope that you will
be able to overcome a petty difference started by the Seldarine
generations ago, so you will stop testing the inn's defenses."
     Signaling to Serene, he continued, "I am known as Windstalker of
the family Windstalker."  Serene arrived, and he said to her, "A
bottle of Tiberian Mineral Water," looking to Taeron, "and two
glasses."
     Looking to see that the patrons had settled down, Windstalker
waited for Serene to return with his order.  When she did, he poured
a glass for his guest and then himself.
     Taking a sip from his glass he said, "I am a follower of the
deity known as Anhur.  Contrary to what you are taught, all surface
elves are not quick to pass judgement on our brothers below.
     Noting that Taeron was still glaring at him, he continued. "You
look to be having a problem, perhaps of a magical nature.  Though I
am only a warrior and a sylvan elf, I still offer my services to you.
You may hate me and I may not know much of magic, but I will assist
you if you so desire."
     Pausing to take another drink , he concluded, "You may learn
that all of what you know of the surface might not be exactly true."
With that he finished off his drink and poured himself another.
