Seeing the familiar sight of the Inn coming towards him through the evening shadows, he realised how much he had come to depend on it's presence as a comfort at the end of a tiring journey. Loosing Shadow to wander into the forest, he wearily climbed the steps to the door. Pushing the door open, the familiar smells and sounds caused him to realise that he actually felt homesick for this place. Finding his table, he ordered his usual Burgundinian Special and a plate of fries, smiling at the familiar faces in the room and at Serene. After finishing his meal, he asked for a room to be made available for him if that was possible, and walked up to the room Serene had told him would now be his. As he slept, he dreamt, but afterwards could not remember what it was that he had dreamt about, but he knew he had a smile on his face when he awoke, and that he felt at peace. -- This is my .sig until further notice...
