Subject: [HouseStorming]: Lurker in the Shadows

Of late Artifice had amused himself by lurking in shadows around Generica-
secreting himself and observing the activities of the City of Fountains'
more nefarious residents.  From time to time he would interfere in
their villainy by incapacitating the ne'er-do-wells or (more often) by
pre-empting the act with an atrocity of his own.  Increasingly, Artifice
would select a perfectly innocent victim to torment and harrass for a
time- breaking things and committing small acts of mischief.  To break up
the monotony, he would engage in homicide.

In the Dragon's Inn one crisp autumn day Artifice spied a notice announcing
a strange sort of housewarming party.  Interested, Artifice studied the
notice and wondered whether this occasion could satiate his strange appetite
for fear and confusion...
