"I sense a presence of some kind in the forest, very faintly." he said. Aleric slowly drew Xel-Ha from over his shoulder, and stood up. "Perhaps we should investigate. Our enemies might have learned of Elanon's survival, and have sent more foul creatures to finish him." Aleric replied. Kyar drew his scimitar, and pointed out into the forest. "Whatever it is, its in that general direction." he said. "I can't seem to focus on it." Aleric moved off into the trees without a sound, merging into the forest shadows. Kyar followed him, doing his best to be quiet, but still making noise. The two slowed down a bit, and stopped to converse again after a few minutes. Aleric ducked his head to Kyar's ear and whispered, "Which way is it now?" Before Kyar could reply, the sound of soft pipe music drifted through the trees to them. The tune seemed familiar-- It was one that the sailors of the Rhymand had often asked Ildamar and Quaeros to play. The two warriors looked at one another quizzically, and moved off towards the source of the music. . . -------------- Jason
