>"Don't let this miserable fool even touch ale, the last time he got drunk,
>we wound up being ransacked by some alley rat." The book replied.
This brought a smile of Aylyra's face, which she quickly hid.

>"Oh shut up, don't you ever stop your complaining," the tattered man pulled
>up a chair and plumped down into it. "I call myself Winter, and this," he
>gestured at the book "calls itself Lex, he has a bit of a personality problem".
>"I have a personality problem, the only personality you have oh stupid one,
>better suits a mangy rhino-beast in heat."
'Oh, boy,' Aylyra thought to herself, 'this is going to be a fun pair. But
beggars can't be choosers. I guess I'll wait and find out what he can do.
Any help would probably be useful.'

>*sigh*, "Anyways, we're new here and your post attracted my attention," Lex,
>let out a loud *groan* "my services are at your disposal, however what they
>are, I've seem to have misplaced them at the moment."
>"What he means to say, that in is infinite ability to mess up he seems to
>have forgotten his spell casting, I however can make up for that as
>I am fluent in several of the forgotten languages, and can cast a wide range
>of magic through the bumbler here."
>Taken aback, Winter's mouth gaped half open, "you mean to tell me I'm a
>Mage, damn you Lex, why didn't you say something before?" his features suddenly
>grew angry, and he looked suggestively at the fire and weighed wether or not
>to cast the tome into it's flames."
'And he is an absent minded mage as well,' her thoughts continued, 'but maybe
he'll get the hang of adventuring anyway. The book seems to be more likely to
be of help than he does.'
>"Oh pardon me, tremendously dull and ignorant one you didn't ask, and further
>more you're not very good so don't get your hope up," the book retorted,"now
>what is it that you require of us?"

"Well," she began, "I'm sure you read the note I posted fully, so you know
that this is going to be a rescue mission." she waits for an affirming reply,
which comes grudgingly from the book and eagerly from the others.
"Ixnaphior is a very dear to me, so I personally am going after him. I guess
I should explain a bit. Ixy- that's what his friends call him- once worked
as a soldier in Spondeux's army, until one day he found out the atrocities
that the military performed, while having these effects carefully disguised.
He wouldn't stand for it, and so he organized a resistance force in one town.
Spondeux got very mad at him ad so he fled. He met many of the other powerful
people in Ohlam throughout Isalaron and Qurqiren. Finally, he thought he would
be strong enough to take out Spondeux. So, he started searching for him.
From a note I recieved from him, he has searchedparts of my world, Toril,
Midkemia, and others, coming through Generica often. His last location is
somewhere in Generica. Through a magical gem, I found out he was in trouble,
and so I have come to find him."
She pauses and takes a sip of her wine.
"This is where you two-" she looks at the book- "I mean you THREE come in.
I cannot save him by myself, I need aid from those around here. This mission
will be dangerous, but I am not asking anyone to take any risk I am not
taking myself."
