He looks into the box and, apparantly satisfied with what he sees, closes it and speaks to her. "I believe I can help you in finding your friend. Although I do not know Ixnaphior well, I have some means of divination," he indicates the box, which he now opens to reveal three coins, one gold, one silver, and one copper. "When in need of a decision, I can consult the coins on the choice, and if the outcome is favorable, this will be indicated to me. This takes very little magical power, so you needn't worry about that. The coins have directed me to leave the decision up to you as to whether you will allow me to divine the path or not." Aylyra thought this over for a moment. The decision was easily arrived at. "I would like to conserve my power for when it is needed. At this time, the start of our quest, it can be used a bit freely. I think that for a little while we should both seek the path, and see if we agree. If so, then all is well. If not, then whoever seems more reliable will continue from there." John nods his agreement. "Very well. shall we make the first attempt once we arrive at the gate?" "That would be perfect," she consents.
