I've been lurking in this newsgroup for a few months now and am intrigued
by several of the stories. Since these stories have no real beginnings nor
endings, I assume they represent different works in progress. With that in
mind, I would like to know several things so as to increase my enjoyment of
storyline in the various stories and, to better follow along the individual
plots in each story.

Questions:

1. What are the differing characters as far as races are concerned?
2. Can you provide descriptions of these characters in your stories?
3. Are these stories related to the Pern book series?
4. Are there any story tellers out there with ongoing Tolkien themes?
