Aurro and Seln stood in the garden surrounded by dozens of cats watching them practice knife-fighting. Aurro, her ebony collored skin gleaming from exertion, was winning the fight. For although the cat-man had advantages on her physically, Seln was no match for Aurro in strategy. The real advantage lay in the fact that aurro had grown up dealing with jungle cats and understood something of the instincts that governed Seln's fighting. Seln, will I ever learn his real name? Seline remembered the night of the great storm, concentrating her magic in an attempt to protect Generica, calling upon the Goddess to protect her children's home. The sudden shifting in her focus, seeing a cat-man floundering in the waves, feeling the power flow through her as she pulled him through time and space to the temple... "Seline.." She turned at the sound of her mates voice. "Nikola! You should be in bed, the fight with those Demons weakened you!" Nikola looked into the eyes of his beloved Seline, Seline who had helped free him of his curse, who had helped him to find meaning and beauty in a life that had seen none. "I'll be fine, I was hurt much more in the fight with Acthyl." She smiled. "I know, but I have only been maried for a few months and so I still fret over my husband when he gets hurt..." "You were thinking of Seln." There was a very small amount of jealousy in his voice. "Yes, I was wondering if I would ever find out his real identity. Did you..." "Mikar went out this morning, to ask around at the various Inn's."
