The original people inthe thread are now back online and continuing the thread. We join now one of the *main* characters- Radan Tsran on the Crimson Moon at predawn, when many of the crew are still sleeping, except for a select few... **** Radan stood on the prow of the ship. He looked out onto the ocean that enveloped the area around him, and thought of Shade. It was only days ago that they lost the SeaGaurd in stormy seas, and the inevitable arguements from Remi and his "first mate"... Radan had been thinking on how this task before him was to be acomplished. He knew that he could not be killed by drowning, for he had a gift from a dear freind that would sustain him until he could return to the surface. He intended to go alone, for he would not jeopordize his crew or his friends. Looking down into his hand, Radan looked at the single crystal Shade had left in his room before the battle so long ago. It seemed that winter came and went, spring bloomed into summer, and summer dimmed into autumn. But, he was standing now at the approximate site of the naval battle that cost Remi his ship. Looking back at the shard, an inner light seemed to pulse inside it. Radan secretly knew that his friend was safe, and that he would soon be back here on board the Crimson Moon. A slight shiver went through Radan, He felt a presence behind him and turned. It was his trusted man Blythe. 'What is it Blythe?' 'Sire, what'cha be thinkin' of this early in the morn? You seem a little distant. Is it your friend ye be worrin' about?' Blythe confided. 'I apologize for my seeming more distant than normal. I do worry about my friend. I have been thinking of what has taken place since we boarded ship, and left for wide open ocean. The crew is marvelous. You are to be commended, once we get back to Generica, I promise you a great reward. If we can clear our names...' Radan thought about the Sea Gaurd and what reprocussions existed in the endeavor to flee the city. He thought about Delmara, a slight pang of regret and anguish crossed his face. 'Blythe, I need you to watch carefully over my belongings, as well as this ship. Take care that our dear captain doesn't forget that I am not present. Today, I go down to the deep to find my friend. Have no fear, I have a magical means of surviving down there. I will be safe.' He thought about the others, they will want to go with him, and he wasn't sure if he wanted them to risk their own lives for someone they didn't know very well. Looking down at the crystal again, it pulsed a little brighter than before. Radan knew it was close to the time for action. He hesitated for a short time before going to the plank... Radan Tsran
