Here he was stuck against a tree, gripping on to a fastly fading concionus, while Setherat was prepareing to wipe everybody out. But what really got to him was the fact he could not move. There was no pain though, in fact there was no sensation of any sort. From the neck down there was nothing. Not to mention the tree was talking to him. Mean while there was someone with daggers move ing in on Setherat, a swift decisive stroke ended Setherat's life, or rather should have. Even as the blade ripped the soft flesh of Setherat's throat the wound began to heal visablly, leaving not so much as a scar. Wisely the Dagger Dancer lept back as Setherat swung a huge paw; and the tree whispered on. As darkness slipped in closer, Taylor gave in and responded to the tree. "And just what is it you want, eh Twiggy?" he smiled, 'Twiggy' indeed. ~I can help you mortal one, for a price, but I can help you.~ the voice of the tree was surprisingly soft, more like silk transformed into sound. ~You are in need of healing, and quickly. But, even if the healing were to be administered soon your spine would still be broken, you would never move again.~ The forest, suddenly brightened as Setherat burst momentarly burst into flames. "Well if you ain't just a bundle o' laughs, tell me the price. I want to know what I'd be letting myself in for IF I say yes, and you'd better make it fasht I tink, I do no shound sho good." the slurring in his voice was no longer an anoyance, to Taylor it signeled impending death. ~All you must do is agree to the transformation, and settle an argument between two Gods.~ "Shet an gument tween goods? Ture new probably em. I gree." suddenly vines dropped from the trees branches engulfing him, and pain be came his new world. His only wish was that he could scream. -- EveryWhere you look life is filled with grim realities, hard facts, plain truth that's not so plain.
