	Ashford looked around his Inn -something was wrong- he could smell it
in the air.
	"Mikar!"  The young thief looked up from his drink.
	"What!?"
	"Who is that kid over there in the cheesey looking robes?" he gestured
towards a thin young man wearing long dark robes with shiny stars and moons all
over.  The young-looking blond was staring off into space speculatively.
	"I don't know.  I've seen him hanging around the department of magic at
the university.  Does flashy tricks but no real intense magick... hey your
really worried!  whats up?"  Ashford looked at the young theif and frowned.
	"I'm not sure but I am sensing trouble involving that guy.  If you
could go to Seline and ask her to do some scrying I would be very greatfull."
	"I'll go right now!"  Mikar put down his drink and headed out the door.
	Once he got outside the Happy Mage Inn it took him a minute to orient
himself, the Inn had moved several blocks while he had been inside it.  Once he
knew where he was and how to get to the temple he headed off.  In all the time
he had known Ashford von Hardrivz he had never known him to ask for outside
help in dealling with a problem.  Including the time a studen mage had
accidentally summoned up a hoarde of demons...  If Ashford had asked him to
talk to the priestess of Besht it must be serious trouble.
	Mikar was so lost in thought that he never noticed the shadow detaching
itself from the wall and sneaking up on him, until it was too late.
