[ADMIN] This post introduces the character Sharkey into the
[TaTHM] story. Sharkey is the exclusive property of
        Lord Stahl, a.k.a. mstahl@mines.colorado.edu

Sharkey walked into the Dragons-Inn with a sigh of
relief. He had been down at the docks earlier that day,
looking for work. Unfortunately, nobody wanted to hire a
cripple. However, on the bright side, he had gotten mugged
five times, assaulted three times, and propositioned by
working girls twice. He dearly loved a good fight.
Spying an empty table, he sat down. Fighting always
made him thirsty. "Barmaid!", he called, "A mug of ale!"
Halfway through, he spotted a new ad on the bulletin
board. It read:

			WANTED!
		Information about the
		disappearance of a young
		man known as Mikar. Also
		wanted are brave adventurers
		to find Mikar.

			REWARD!
	 	  NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

		Please respond to the
		Temple of Besht.

'Hmm,' he said to himself, 'This sounds promising.
Besides, there might be a good brawl along the way.'

Tearing down the ad, he paid the barmaid and walked
out into the pouring rain. He then asked a local person where
he could find this Temple. Setting his foot in the right
direction, he limped down the street.
He hadn't been walking for five minutes when he
heard the distinctive Twang! of a bow string. An arrow then
lodged itself in his peg leg. A second arrow hit him square
in the back. Luckily, the pea-coat was enchanted to protect
him as well as heavy chain mail.
When Sharkey looked up, he saw a shadow running along
a roof-top. Whoever had shot at him was gone.
"Great!" he said to no one in particular. Maybe today
wasn't going to be as great as he thought. With a sigh, he
continued on to the Temple of Besht. And the reward.
