(A long day's trudge won't do wonders for you, especially when you had just previously been marked for capital punishment. Such was the mood Caltho and Terri Zawaane carried, a mood that both of them bore quietly... but Terri was more depressed than Caltho was, an opinion she was making all too clear. As the pair entered Generica, Caltho sighed. For today was another day, and hence bore the gloomful reminder that Terri might get another broadsword, and he might get talked into letting her use it. Oh well. Terri took a small paper scroll out and read the directions, and eventually managed to find the Dragon Inn. They entered it, not knowing what to expect. Caltho sat down in a chair and ordered some ale. Terri asked, "Hm...have you figured out the lodgings?" "No, but remember, I've only had a day to think about it." "Don't forget to buy chains tomorrow, Caltho...actually, if you can buy them today...--" "Lodgings, did I hear you say?" Their conversation had attracted the attention of a Generican inn proprietor, and he was attempting to get some business. "Yes," confirmed Terri, "lodgings. As in a place to stay for the night...?" "Ah yes, we have that. As well as free dinner (except for any creatures larger than humans) and a tourist guide if you pay for it. Are you interested?" Caltho answered in the affirmative and was given a card with the hotel's name and price on it. While he memorized it, the waiter gave him his ale and accepted the payment and tip. "Have you seen a genocidal maniac?" Terri asked of a passing person. "Huh?...No." he responded querulously. "Look in the mirror." Terri turned back towards Caltho. "You know," Caltho stated, "you shouldn't do that." "Why not? After all, there IS a genoci--" "Quiet.") P.S.S (or is it P.P.S?) If anyone figures out Terri and Caltho's secret (having something to do with Terri's headband (she never takes it off), Caltho's hat, hydrophobia and genocide) confront them with it and I'll give you their story. Maybe.
