Mardan doesnt hesitate long, "I know not if the Carnak you speak
of is the same as the Karnak that Pharzon serves, since I know
little of Karnak save that his representation is usually that of
a dragon. Pharzon discovered this being he serves in the ancient
forbidden archives that have been sealed since the War of Gods,
over two thousand years ago."

He stops , looks at the cards, and then continues,"Regardless,
of whether the two beings are the same, your help is most 
appreciated. I hope to be leaving soon, but I hope to acquire a
few more companions before departing, as Pharzon will place
many obstacles in the way. But, so far the cards indicate a
favorable outcome, though there is uncertainity and powerful
opposition in them."

"As for my contacting you when it comes time to depart ", he
smiles," do not worry, I will be able to find you. "
