As Jones waits for his newfound acquaintances
to decide whether they want in or not, he
notices a friend from the past.

A woman comes closer to the table...for some
reason, Jones doesn't act in his normal
paranoid manner.  When the thought about
not fighting occurs to him, his first response
is {well, of course you don't fight face to
face in front of witnesses!  Geez, everybody
knows you do such things in a dark alley...
from the back...}

Jones smiles, and waves to Durant...he then
signals the barmaid, who drags up an extra
table and appropriate chairs.  Drinks and
snacks are brought out, as Jones pays with
more unmarked silver wafers.

Jones says to Durant "Glad I got your message!
It's been too long since we've worked together...
So tell me, you interested in 'liberating
some more poor suffering oppressed people?'
<Jones grins>...for their own good, of
course!"

Jones looks over at Pokk and continues to
Durant "Got a new recruit?  Is he as
idealistic as you and I?"
