	He watched as she entered the Inn and made her way to the bar,
carefully seating herself and ordering a drink.  She seemed not to notice him
sitting, wrapped as he was, on the stool next to her, the vapors of his hot
drink rising towards the ceiling.  Idly he glanced back to the chess board on
his other side.

	"Check!"

	The small voice was rather raspy and familiar.  Turning he looked down
at the little salamander.

	"That's the third time now isn't it?" he asked it.

	The salamander just looked smug and sat back letting a little flicker
of flame from its lips.

	Sighing he turned to the dark elf next to him.

	"Do you think you could give me a hand Moria?  He's making more a fool
of me than I usually do."
