Judging the distance to the closest Dread, he lunged forward to the attack using the Boar's Charge sword form. Moving with a precision born of years of practice, he ducked smoothly under the Dread's backhanded fist and drove his flaming blade up and through the creature's sternum. Concen- trating, Kelanen intensified the power of the blazing magefire down the length of his warblade, pouring molten fire into the heart of the impaled Dread. Great gouts of fire shot forth from the dying demon's crimson eyes and fanged maw illuminating the plaza with an errie flickering ruby light. Slumping over backwards, the Dread's motionless body smoldered and burned with an internal fire, sending an acrid stench wafting along the night's silent breeze. At the sight of the demise of one of their brethren, the re- maining three Dread quickly encircled the cursed human who held the sword that burned with holy fire, attempting to pen him in. In unison, the three Brothers of Night summoned up their own blades of demonic coldfire and slowly advanced on the surrounded warrior. After dispatching the first Dread, Kelanen's magesense picked out the other three hellspawn approaching in the flickering gloom, wielding their own deadly swords of darkfire. Grimly, he raised his own fiery warblade in defiance. I'll have to take the offensive, do what they least expect, he mused. Charging forward, Kelanen swept toward the three remaining Dread like an avenging angel whirling his two handed warblade through multiple sword forms. His ploy to keep the creatures off balance worked. Although they were incredibly nimble they were not trained in the use of human weaponry as Kelanen was. Dancing between the Dread, Kelanen weaved his own deadly pattern of sword strokes, striking at any demon flesh left exposed to his flurry of attacks. ================================================================ -- :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :: Anthony Ignacio :: InfiNet Account :: :: anthony@infi.net :: Norfolk, Virginia, USA :: ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
