	A few days had passed, and Alarond had fully recovered.  They were all
anxious to get moving.
	
	"Okay folks, since I'm back to my ol' bouncy self, how's 'bout we make
some plans to join up with Aleric in the vale?  However, if it's not _too_ much
to ask, could we please not go by nautical means?  I mean, we have been going
that particular route quite a bit as of late, and you all know how much I just
_love_ boats! I personally wouldn't mind feeling a saddle beneath me again."
Alarond was hoping that they were at least on the same continent.  He had
gotten used to sea travel, but he currently was green just at the thought of
it.

	"I think Alarond has a point Coltren.  He has been through a lot lately
and sailing wouldn't improve his condition at all." Kyar vaguely remebered the
last time they were on a vessel, Alarond spent the majority of the time over
the side. "I would think that we should be able to find a few good animals in
this area, as well as supplies for the trip. I think that you should be in
charge of that, Coltren, as you know the area to which we are traveling the
best."

	"Good idea, Kyar, I think that our plan should be to collect our
supplies and find animals as riding seems to be our best mode of
transportation." He smiled down at the little sprite, who was very relieved to
hear that he wouldn't be wave running any time in the near future. "After we
gather our necessities, I think we should plan to set out at first light.  Time
is short, and I feel that our services will be needed." 

	In short time, the three procured three sturdy, light-hooved horses and
a pack horse to carry supplies.  The priestesses were very generous with their
own stores, as they has grown to like Alarond during his convalescence. As his
usual flirtatious self, he entertained the priestesses as a repayment for their
healing works.  The priestesses gave the three food and warm clothing for the
trip as well as their blessings.

	Weapons were also needed.  Alarond had lost his one dagger in the fight
with the beast; Kyar and Coltren also were in need of a few light armaments. 
Coltren did not want his new-found friends to be caught off guard in his
homeland.  He knew that things had changed since he was last in the vale--and
not for the good.  Because of this, he made sure that each had a good dagger
and bow with a quiver of the best arrows.
	
	After the gathering was done they settled down to an early bed, as they
knew that they had a long day ahead of them when dawn broke.
