"If ya huv an adventur'sum sowl ya pup, why de Dragon's Inn isn
wher ya'd wont ta be. Ther be some strange uns der alright.", said the
cobbler. "Now hew dem boots a'be", he asked checking the snugness of
his leathern creations he had just fitted to the strangers feet. "Too
nug for ya?"
"Why I couldn't ask for more comfort. Well worth the gold I
paid.", was the stranger's reply. With a "slain lait" to the cobbler
the newly shod man hefted his gear and left the shop.
Once he left the shop the stranger became just another dirty
traveller walking the streets of Generica. It was a large city by any
comparison. The people seemed to be most involved in themselves and
didn't seem to notice one more stranger wandering around. There was
little mishapon the walk from the cobbler's to the inn, and directly
upon arriving his stomach told him to dine. Smelling the fare he called
to the serving lass and asked for a room and food. After settling a
delicious turkey down with a spot of whiskey the man went up to his
room, unloaded his gear and washed off. Finally he headed back to the
common room for some drink and entertainment. One of the patrons told
him of the advertisements, and a posting by a "Ja'nis Threeweeds"
showed much promise. He decided to inquire further - after some well
earned celebration. Amongst the banter of the inn a new man was joining
the others and his name is Codlaimn
