The sun rose with the coming of a new day, it's light bringing
warmth to the body and the soul as it spread its reaches into the forest
where Melastirth lay. As the first rays of sunlight stroked his elven
face, he instantly awoke from his makeshift shelter. He quickly gathered
his meager belongings and carefully cleaned up everything he had done.

"One can never be too careful when it comes to protecting the
Nature," Melastirth though. And at this he cast a simple incantation which
removed any last remnants of refuse that would be left behind. It
disgusted him the way some people lived, throwing things away and
carelessly harming Nature. All his life he had learned the ways of Nature,
and grown one with it. Nature would do his bidding, and he would do the
Bidding of Nature. Yet some creatures were deaf to the Calling.

It had taken a long time for Melastirth to realize this, but he
had finally come to acknowledge it. He could even accept some of the minor
offenses against Nature. However, in the past there had been times when he
had seen the wanton destruction of Nature...

	Nature cried out to him...

It was at those times that he lashed out at the evil that killed
and destroyed, to let it taste its own deep dark poison. Yes, he knew the
magic of Life, but with it came some knowledge of Death.

It was this evil that brought him here...

He could barely pull the memories from his mind...

While fighting a terrible creature which had killed countless
lives, this had happened to him. Somehow, he knew not how it was possible,
this creature had brought him to another world, a different world. Yet, he
still felt as though the creature was near.

The journey had weakened him too much to find the creature and
destroy it, before it destroyed. He needed help. Stretching his mystical
senses into the forest, he saw a town. A town with many people in it. An
ideal place to find the help he needed, despite the fact that such an area
brought shivers down his spine, thinking of all the horrible atrocities
committed against Nature there. Summoning his mystical power from within
himself, he transported himself to the nearest tree to the town.

Upon opening his eyes and looking towards the town, he suddenly
saw a very familiar face looking back at him..........
