: There is a human form in the corner. At first you weren't sure,
: but then you looked a little closer, and the light flickered, and you
: saw him. He wore a black trenchcoat and a round-rimmed hat, black cowboy
: boots, black jeans. He seemed the epitome of darkness, death hiding in
: the shadows, yet something is enchanting about this strange man. The he
: shifts, and you see it, the sword sheath, and the hilt of a long blade.

: Why would someone dressed in such clothing be carrying a sword for a weapon?

: Do you dare ask him?

He is known by many names, over many centuries, Marius, Toron, "The Dark
One", "The Watcher", Last Warrior, but in this century he goes by the name
of Lewis Weston. He has seen Greece, Rome, the Dark Ages, the Middle
Ages, The Renesaunce(sp?), he has seen it all.
You see, Lewis is cursed. He can never truely "die".
Sure, to the mortals he may be dead, sleeping for so long that a
generation, two generations, ect... have gone, but he always reawakens.
His aura is that of shadow, he is connected to the shadow world, and he
has a strange concept of time. The concept of a Watcher......
He has been mistaken for a Vampire......many do. He can grow
fangs and he prefers the night and he has even, in enacting revenge, drank
blood. However, he has never slept in a coffin. Why would he, when he
can blend into the shadows, appearing only to those who need him, or who
have wronged the world.

He stumbled on Dragon's Inn due to the glitch in time that it provides.
He both hated and loved the new world, filled with loud streets and people
rushing too and fro to no end, yet filled with all the excitement that a
mortal could want.
Here he can get the excitement he desires without giving up the old world,
or so he hopes.
