From a forgotten corner the drunken  miner  seemed to waken, sobered by 
the sight of this stranger.  "I know what you are!" he growled. The words 
splashed out of his affected mouth as he stood with the same drunken 
effort. "We dont take to your kind here. GET OUT!" He hurled his empty 
tankerd, which splashed warm ale upon the strangers.  Suddenly the 
reality of his his actions penetrated his drunken stupor. he waited
