"May I see" asks Sleeaeth, holding her hand out. She studied the
medallion for a while, wracking her memories, but finally sighed,
shrugged and passed back the medallion. "I'm sorry, but the design
means nothing to me" Suddenly she looks up - smiles at someone over
the other side of the inn. Sitting in the corner of the room is a
man, drinking a flagon of something. He gestures for Sleeaeth to
join him, but she shakes her head, then gestures for him to approach.

Turning again to the elf, her mood changes for a few moments. " I'm
surprised that you accepted my offer. Your kind usually try to
ignore my kind whenever they can" her mood softens," still you came
to have a drink, and thats what matters for the moment" she smiles
and sips her drink.

"Would you like to try and find out more of this?" she says, gesturing
at the medallion, "my travelling companions have business here, and
I'm at a loss to what to do to fill my days, I'm already feeling
restless!" She stretches and a chain falls out from beneath her
tunic. On the end is a battered silver ring. She quickly puts it
back out of view, a sad smile playing on her face. "Where would you
like to start? I'm a stranger to these areas, but I know these roads
are not as safe as they could be, and I could prove useful." Looking
at her hands you can see that both left and right hand bear weapon
callouses, and that the grips of the swords are well worn. You
notice also that the sword on the right hip has a fair-sized diamond
in the pommel. She smiles, "amazing what you can find by the
roadside".

Tyloril returned his eyes to Sleeaeth's face, his head tilted as
he considered the woman's last comment. He looked as if he were
about to say something, but thought better of it. Sleeaeth studied the
elf carefully, a raised eyebrow showing her amusement at Tyloril's
indecision. It was not often one found an elf so lacking in composure.
"I have been to the university and the library in the city," Tyloril
replied, "But I was unable to uncover anything." Tyloril's mind swam
as he remembered the hundreds of students and the long corridors.
How could people live amongst such madness? "One of the librarians
suggested I seek a sage to the south, a man by the name of Salyn, in
the city of Yeoman. Since I have nothing else requiring my time..."
the elf shrugged his shoulders, and finished off his glass.

"I'm not interupting antying special?" Jason asked as
he pulled a chair up from a empty table. He sat down
nonchalantly, taking notice of the medallion.

"Where in Generica did you find that? That could be
worth something, you know. Lots of money." For a moment he
started at it as if considering something. Suddenly his eyes
lighted up and his eyebrows raised.

"You know," Jason started, "I know a man who takes
interest in such things. He owns a oddity shop just a few
leagues north of here and has been around a long time; no
doubt he has quite a bit of money hiding in his rundown shop
to buy that medallion. I bet it would fetch a fine price if
you were to show it to him. "If you want I can take you there.
I know him quite well and could get you as high a price as
possible, of course, if are were interested."

Jason turned back to his flagon and gulped more of the
liquid down and wiped his lips on his already dirty sleeve.

Sleeaeth looked from Tyloril to Jason and back again. "Why don't we
go and see the shop first, then if no new information comes to light
we can always leave tommorow. I have a horse, and my gear is quickly
packed". She smiled. "Besides, my companions will not be finished
with their business for days, possibly weeks, they can always find
things to keep them amused....." She sips her drink "besides, all
this waiting around is making me...complacent.... it doesn't do to
become so soft, when you trade in the goods I do...." She stands up,
shall we go then...?"
