Behold the pale horse.  The man that sat on him was Death.  And Hell followed
with him.

The stranger arrived upstairs.  Looking around he spied an open table and sat
down.  A barmaid came over and handed him a menu.  After ordering he excused
himself and went to the bathroom.  There was a young man in there just 
finishing up.  The stranger walked over and and put his hand on the shoulder
of the the young man.  Then he walked into the stall.  The young man went 
back to his table, where his wife was sitting.  A few minutes later the youth
slumped forward in his chair.  The stranger was back at his table enjoying 
his meal.  When the youth's wife shook her husband to see what was wrong she
began to shake violently and collapsed to the ground.  Seconds later she too
was dead.  

It took almost three hours to finally get the two corpses from the Inn.  
Everyone that came into contact with anyone that died also did so.  The aid
of four mages were enlisted to levitate the bodies out.  All the bodies had
to be taken to a priest where the toxin was spiritually purged from the 
bodies so that they could be touched safely.  

The stranger was already moving on towards his next target...
