Looking slightly hurt that he could not stir up a conversation about magic,
the mage became quiet. The realization that he had forgotten his social graces
gave him pause to await the other's introductions. Hearing none, he presented
himself.

The mage paused to restoke is pipe with a flame from the tip of his finger.
"As for names" he said with his face almost obsured behind the green cloud.
"That'd be Orteal, though I'm not called by that name to often. I am from
places exciting and dull, but call me travelling boots home. You can call me
Ort if it suits yer fancy as it does most. It's much better than many a name
I've been called."

"As fer stories... Well now, ther'd be tales and then ther'd be tales. I couldn't be
so rude as to bend yer ear til I knew a bit I more about yerselves. " Ort fumbled in
the sleeve of his crimson robe and produced several pipes, each of a different size
and design and placed them on the table along with a pouch of an exotic smelling
herb. "First I'd need to know if ya cared to join me in a smoke. You can learn alot
'bout a person by enjoying a good smoke. Don't you agree?"

[Design the pipe of your choosing if you care to indulge.]
