That morning back in the Stumble Inn the group was reconveining for breakfast.
In between bites of egg and sips of coffee Fyre and Weehawk were resharpening
their blades. Diana was still a little tired from the night's unrest and was
drinking her tea to stay awake. Fango was absent at the moment as he and Amber
were off talking to Briesanter at the bar. Ghaunden truly didn't look like the
morning agreed with him, he was wearing a pair of dark glasses over his red
eyes and was facing away from the window. Only Azurecon was absent.

"Honestly, I have no idea how you Darthir can stand the sunlight,"
mumbled Ghaunden. "Frankly I still wish that I was in the Underdark."

"Ghaunden, cheer up. You don't want Azurecon to see you like this,"
conforted Diana. "Besides, the sunlight's good for you."

At that moment, Azurecon walked into the Inn whistling an ancient Elven war
song. He actually seemed happy this morning, which struck the others as being
quite odd. Soon after, Fango and Amber came over to join the others for the
meal. Fango took care to keep himself between Amber and Azurecon. He looked
around at his five brethren and smiled inwardly. This city, Generica had
proved to be an interesting adventure. They could stay here for years and
still not know everything about it.

"Morning all," said Azurecon as he reached for the salt. "This town is
indeed a great wonder. I think I am going to like it here."

"The word among the town constablery is that almost twenty people have
been found dead since five this morning," stated Fango, who was looking at
Azurecon. "Dangerous place I must say."

"I find it exciting," interrupted Azurecon.

"You would," added Ghaunden. "Murder always brings out the best in
you. Doesn't it?"

"Why, Ghaunden, I am hurt," said Azurecon, feigning hurt.

"You should be," reponded the ranger.
