     The door to the inn opened slowly, but with a noticeable squeak.  Some
heads in the bar turned to look at the newcomer.  He was not what most had
expected.  Those that took the time to look saw a young boy, barely 
fifteen, dressed in the clothes of one with little money.  In the boy's
hand was a piece of paper.  A quick glance at the paper seemed to 
reassure him as he entered the inn. 
     The boy made his way across the room to the bar.  Sitting down, he 
ordered a juice and turned to look at the other patrons.  Most of the 
patrons had lost interest and slipped back into their dark corners.
     "Maybe," the boy muttered, "doesn't look like much though."
